Dhwani Foundation

India’s multiple social challenges have a high impact on society and especially, the marginalized communities. NGOs, as they are without the trappings of power or driven by profit, are often more effective in driving change in the communities they work in. NGOs can therefor be a credible bridge between Government and society, as also between for-profit institutions and communities.

The smaller and more rural NGOs are specially hard pressed to adapt to these changes. This has led to a drop in both quantity and quality of work getting done. Dhwani foundation focuses on building capacity in NGOs.Dhwani does this by mentoring as also by imparting knowledge and skills in the areas of compliance, good governance, accounting, MIS, technology adoption, program management & strategic planning.Dhwani simultaneously works with other players in this ecosystem, including Government, NGO Federations, Corporate Donors and Donor Agencies to build a common understanding of issues.
